Quarter Life Crisis
Well..this actually is an email i got .thought it would be nice to paste it here ....
It is when you stop going along with the crowd and start realizing that there are many things about yourself that you didn't know and may not like. You start feeling insecure and wonder where you will be in a year or two, but then get scared because you barely know where you are now.
You start realizing that people are selfish and that, maybe, those friends that you thought you were so close to aren't exactly the greatest people you have ever met, and the people you have lost touch with are some of the most important ones. What you don't recognize is that they are realizing that too, and aren't really cold, catty, mean or insincere, but that they are as confused as you.
You look at your job and it is not even close to what you thought you would be doing, or maybe you are looking for a job and realizing that you are going to have to start at the bottom and that scares you.
Your opinions have gotten stronger. You see what others are doing and find yourself judging more than usual because suddenly you realize that you have certain boundaries in your life and are constantly adding things to your list of what is acceptable and what isn't. One minute, you are insecure and then the next, secure.
You laugh and cry with the greatest force of your life. You feel alone and scared and confused. Suddenly, change is the enemy and you try and cling on to the past with dear life, but soon realize that the past is drifting further and further away, and there is nothing to do but stay where you are or move forward.
You get your heart broken and wonder how someone you loved could do such damage to you. Or you lie in bed and wonder why you can't meet anyone decent enough that you want to get to know better. Or maybe you love someone but love someone else too and cannot figure out why you're doing this because you know that you aren't a bad person. You go through the same emotions and questions over and over, and talk with your friends about the same topics because you cannot seem to make a decision. You worry about loans, money, the future and making a life for yourself and while winning the race would be great, right now you'd just like to be a contender!
What you may not realize that every one reading this relates to it. We are in our best of times and our worst of times, trying as hard as we can to figure this whole thing out. Share this with your twenty-something friends, maybe it will help someone feel like they aren't alone in their state of confusion.

Success and Failure !

Success -- There is a saying ' Nothing succeeds like success'
Success builds your confidence .Repeated success brings an air of invincibility around you.
Failure - Failure is depressive. Failure is undesirable and
moral crushing. Fear of failure always keeps you away from success.
This is just the one way to look at it . But every coin has 2 sides to it .Lets view success and failure from a different angle --
Success keeps you happy
Failure keeps u humble..
Success brings complacency.
Failure keeps the flame of desire burning ..
Success leads to the downfall
and failure ..leads to the sweet success !
This does not conclude that failure is the thing to desire.Success is the ULTIMATE goal . But then again an odd failure, a small hick up is not always that bad . Dont get disheartened and go for the 2nd try with full confidence . It just requires a change in the way you percieve failure.
Trust me ...success tastes sweeter in the second try :)

Down the memory lane.....
It seems like just yesterday ..school bell used strike sharp at 1.30 in the afternoon..another day at the school ended. Out from the parking lot come our bicycles..on our way to home .Just after the tiring steep road besides my school ...used to be our ..meeting point ...or 'adda' as one might call it in marathi. Punctually each one of us used to gather at the spot after the school. Hang out for some time ..chit chat...bitch about rest of the guys and girls of our class ,fight..argue etc etc and go home happily. we were some 6-7 boys .The best of pals .The friends for life.
School days whisked past .... fortunately all of use continued to study in the same city .The bicycles were now replaced with bikes. We continued to meet..and meet frequently. The bond grew stronger.Days passed..and years passed bye.Through the ups and downs we persisted .Those were the glory days ..the memories football and cricket we played for long hours is still fresh in my mind.
.."Everything good has to come to an end ".Not being and exception to the rule...our days seem over .Some of us already left in the past few months to foreign lands in search of fortune.Rest of us are engaged in jobs.Today as i pass by my school...i still see the 'adda'.Some new group of school boys have replaced us at that spot. In them i see our past and make a nostalgic walk "Down the memory lane ..........and relive the moments ".....

The Beginning...
One Always needed a place or a person to vent out the feelings within him, share his thoughts, craziest fantasies and so on..
The people deserted me. Possibly they are a step ahead of me and i am lagging. So this is the place..where i will go on yapping ..and crapping.
Not for someone else to read...but for myself...to read ,to think,,may be admire...after the passage of a few years.
Its almost 2 a.m at night...my favourite song ringing in full treble ,full bass from the headphones into my ears..all most sending shivers down my spine.
Its a rather crazy time and situation to write a blog....
But thats the way it is.
